My career has been consistently characterized by the deliberate promotion of doctoral and early career researchers.
For early doctoral students and early career researchers within and outside at my own institution, I have secured repeated funding to run workshops aimed at increased publication, momentum and confidence, as well as exposure to new methodologies, theoretical frameworks, and productive collaborative partnerships.
I am also at the forefront of efforts to empower women in the entrepreneurship space. In 2015, I began volunteering with the Princes Trust, which has expanded my work with female entrepreneurs from workshops and inspirational keynote speeches to “one to one” individual mentoring.
My dedication to the empowerment of women was recently recognised by Women Mean Business when I was shortlisted as a finalist in the Empowering Women Category 2022.
